IMProving Teacher Quality Grants

The Board of Higher Education administers the Improving Teacher Quality grant program, funded by the Title II: Part A of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The goal of this funding is to improve student academic achievement through initiatives grounded in scientific research that provide high-quality training for teachers.

Please note: As of March 10, 2008, the office of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education
was renamed the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. The name change will be integrated into
