American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees

The collective bargaining agreement for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) covers the period from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2004.

Agreement Preamble

"This Agreement entered into by the Board of Higher Education, hereinafter referred to as the Employer, and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Council 93, Local 1067, AFL-CIO, hereinafter referred to as the Union, will set forth procedures for the equitable resolution of grievances, the terms of employment with respect to wages and working conditions, and by means by which the parties may consult periodically on mutually perceived problems and has as its purpose the promotion of harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union and the maintenance of a work environment where employees are treated with dignity, respect and civility."
