Introduction

The Board of Higher Education attempts to provide an avenue for informal resolution of matters concerning institutions. The Board of Higher Education cannot require an institution to take any specific action in a matter and cannot provide legal advice.

Please note: As of March 10, 2008, the office of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education
was renamed the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. The name change will be integrated into
prior existing website content gradually over the next few months.
